This year was ‘different’ but wonderful in it’s own ways. While I stepped back a bit from dog activities to focus on pregnancy and adding our 3rd baby to the family, many APAW puppies were coming of age and starting to hit the rings with their own partners!
3 NEW DOGS from our 2023 litters joined our program as upcoming hopefuls
- Ultra – our spunky, spirited, small keeper girl from the U litter (Dyno x Haven)
- Uni – our sweet, observant keeper boy from the U litter (Dyno x Haven)
- Vitzi – our bubbly, appeasing keeper girl from from the V litter (Kindle x Galaxy)
4 HOPEFULS passed their health testing to officially enter our breeding program
- Jude our stocky, confident dark blue Standard boy (J litter, Eclipse x Hope)
- Lyric our observant, capable blue Standard girl (L litter, Rudy x Denali)
- Orchid our sweet, playful dark blue small Standard girl (O litter, Hercules x Essence)
- Harry our handsome, driven dark blue Standard boy co-owned with Sarsel Poodles (Genesis x Hope)
Euphie who we co-own from our L litter also passed her health testing to become the foundation dam for her partner’s budding breeding program!
NO LITTERS this year, while the focus was my pregnancy and the baby stage with Aria
4 RETIRED dogs
- Galaxy (APAW’s Across The Universe CGCA CGCU TKN) dam of our V litter (Vitzi is our keeper). Galaxy now lives a life of adventure with her own partner, living next door to grandchildren and her V litter son Velour and other APAW relative Burban.
- Haven (URO1 U-CH APAW’s Over The Rainbow FDC CGC TKN SPOT-ON) dam of our R and U litters (Relic, Ultra and Uni are our keepers). Haven will stay here forever, and will continue to have fun working on more titles as opportunities arise.
- Ideal (APAW’s Just The Way You Are FDC CGC TKN) dam of our Q and T litters and a litter for DoeValley Poodles (Quiche and Tulip are our keepers). Ideal now lives with her own partner and is keeping them very busy with a full schedule of fun classes and events with plans for continuing to add titles and to start regular therapy visits.
- Jubilee (APAW Life’s A Dance), never bred due to failing a health test. Jubilee now lives with APAW dog Lucky where she is settling in and thinking about how she’d like to spend her future adventures.

9 NEW TITLES earned by Jillian with our breeding/hopeful dogs (listed by litter order/age). These titles are in the categories of rally, tricks and temperament.

40 NEW TITLES/HONORIFICS earned by our wonderful homes with APAW Poodles (listed by litter order, dogs are from the litter their name begins with unless otherwise specified). These titles are in the categories of rally, disc, scent, tricks, parkour, temperament and fitness. In addition, one dog has re-certified in Search & Rescue capacities and another has completed a certification towards becoming a Service Dog.

In Memoriam
This past year we also mourned the loss of a wonderful dog from our APAW family.
