Our Waiting List

Our litters are planned around many factors; the actual pairings are selected based on the direction we want to take our breeding program with each generation, but the timing of when to breed each litter takes the desires of our waiting list homes into consideration – smaller vs Standard sized, higher- vs lower-drive, and color to some extent. Our timeline will sometimes shift around a bit due to changes in our waiting list, including postponing a litter until we have more homes ready for the predicted puppies, and/or adding an additional litter when we have a lot of homes ready for the predicted pups.

Please get on our waiting list early to help us best plan – homes need to be on the list approximately 9-12 months prior to a mating for us to take their specific interests into consideration. Many homes get on the list 2-3 years in advance and reserve their spot for a specific parent/pairing; other homes prefer to wait until pups are on the ground and see if any will still be available. We welcome additions to our waiting list at any time, but encourage most homes with a specific desire to reach out at least a year ahead of getting ready to bring your puppy home.

On average our waiting list maintains about 10-20 homes, with timelines to bring their puppy home between ASAP and 3 years out. Other than the current economy it is common that entire litters are spoken for prior to birth.

A note on colors; our program has been mostly focused on greyscale coloring – black, blue, silver, cream. We do have a few dogs who are/carry for brown, but it is pretty rare for us to have a litter that actually produces it, so if a home really wants that color we can share if we have any litter plans that may produce it, or we can refer to other breeders who are more likely to produce it. Similarly, only recently have we had any apricot pups; we have a stud and a couple of upcoming dams who are apricot so we are likely to have more apricot pups from specific litters in the next 2-4 years, but overall it is not a color we typically produce and we can refer homes to other breeders who do focus on this color. We do not have red or parti/multi-colors in our program other than Zorro our phantom Mini, but he is not active in our own breeding program at this time (he sired our fantastic T litter bred to Ideal, we just don’t have another female that we plan to breed him to and overall our girls only have solid color genes).

Colors left to right – black, blue, blue, silver, cream – littermates at 1 year old.

More details coming soon for the following!

Planned Fall ’25 – X Litter – Dyno x Marvel (Dyno’s likely retirement litter) – small performance/companion pups – silver

Planned Winter ’25-26 – Y Litter – Zorro x Karma (Karma’s retirement litter) – small performance/service/companion pups – likely blue and cream/apricot

*Tentatively* planned Winter/Spring ’26 – Z Litter – Flint x Orchid (Orchid’s only litter) – Standards for performance/service/conformation/companion – likely silver/blue

Planned Spring ’26 – AA Litter – TBD x Nimble (Nimble’s only litter) – large Standards for service/companion – likely silver/blue

In ’26-27 we will likely breed our girls Lyric (retirement litter), Marvel (retirement litter), Quiche, Tulip and possibly Saffron (pending all health testing); of our males, Locket, Clue (likely retirement litter), and/or Harry are likely to be bred, though we have outside stud plans for some of the above girls.

In ’28 we will likely breed any of the above mentioned dogs who end-up not being bred in ’27, and for the females considering a 2nd litter followed by their retirement.

~ All plans subject to potential changes, this is just to give a heads-up to homes thinking about general timing and which parents they are drawn towards ~
