This page contains details of each litter since creating our website at the end of 2023 – once all pups in a litter have gone to their new homes the details will be moved from our Current/Planned Litters page to this one.
W Litter

Marshall x Lyric
Born 5/20/25
5 males, 4 females

Marshall (DoeValley Life Of The Party!) is a sweet and fun inter-variety stud from Mini and Standard parents both from solid performance and conformation lines. Lyric (U-CH APAW’s Song Of The Wild CGC VC) is a beautiful and serious athlete with prey-driven sports being her personal preference, also from inter-variety lines successful in performance and conformation as well as therapy and service.

This litter is expected to overall mature smaller than average Standard size, with great performance aptitudes and good structure. Genetic diversity will be well above average for Standards.

We have 1 silver, 5 blues (1 possibly staying black), 2 silver beiges and 1 cafe au lait. **Note – we place pups by temperament needs; color is a factor only for selecting between multiple good matches**
Natural tails and dews.

There is no diversity summary since it is an inter-variety litter, but all pups will have significantly high diversity as a result.
V Litter

Kindle x Galaxy
Born 12/4/23
3 males, 5 females

Kindle (APAW’s Rising Sun FDC CGC TKN) is a calm, sweet, sensitive, biddable dog with generally low drive but a love of playing fetch. He is a service dog for his partner. Galaxy (APAW’s Across The Universe CGCA CGCU TKN) is a mid-drive dog from a pedigree that has produced both high-drive performance athletes (most notably in agility, she has a bunch of half-sibs who are MACH’s/Master Agility Champions as well as a bunch who are certified in Search & Rescue) and calmer service and therapy dogs.
Expecting these puppies to be mostly lower to mid-drive with the ability to build it easily if desired. Expecting multiple pups to evaluate well for service work, and many to evaluate well for therapy/companionship. This litter should be fairly novice-friendly and on the easier side to raise, even without significant time devoted to training and exercise – obviously all puppies need a certain minimal amount of dedication from their family, but along the spectrum of needy puppies most of this litter should fall to the lower side of the spectrum. Most of the pups should be pretty forgiving of poor timing with handling, less tendency towards reactive behaviors, etc – nice puppies for companion homes and those with children or disabilities.
This is Galaxy’s only litter and she will be retired when pups are ready for their homes.

We have 3 silvers (1 possibly blue), 4 creams, and 1 brown (likely silver beige). Kindle is a slightly small Standard (22″, 36 lbs) and Galaxy is typical Standard size/pedigree, so we expect these pups to be mostly average sized, likely a range around 22-25″ and 35-60 lbs, with most being on the larger side. **Note – we place pups by temperament needs; color is a factor only for selecting between multiple good matches**
Natural tails and dews.

U Litter

Dyno x Haven
Born 11/22/23
5 males, 2 females

Both Dyno (Karbits Velociraptor) and Haven (U-CH APAW’s Over The Rainbow FDC CGC TKN) are higher drive and energy with a good off-switch. They are enthusiastic and biddable; not reactive but want to participate when they see fun. Expecting mostly puppies that will be busy and want to ‘work’ (need direction in some capacity), with good handler focus and highly social. Some will likely be pretty intense and require handlers with experience in performance sports or other training that includes channeling drive and building life skills such as impulse-control – these pups should have what it takes to be successful at top levels of performance/work. This is not to say they will be challenging pups – on the contrary, they should be quite fun and a joy to raise and train… for handlers who know what they are doing. The rest of the litter will likely be closer to mid-range drives/intensity and may be suitable for novice handlers who are serious about learning to work with a wonderful partner; also capable of high levels of achievement but likely won’t rival Border Collies in speed and precision at those high levels – but also wonderful companions for homes that just have time for active weekend excursions. We’ll know more as the litter matures, but we don’t expect this litter to produce calm or easy pets for novice handlers.
These pups are likely to all fall into the classification of ‘performance prospects’ – click here for a blog describing what we mean by this term.
This is planned to be Haven’s final litter.

All U litter pups are black-based and will fade likely to a range of blues, possibly to silver. Parents are on the small side (Dyno is an over-sized Mini, Haven is a small Standard); it’s too early to realistically predict adult sizes, but they could range from 18-23″ and 20-45 lbs or so, likely with most in the 18-21″ 25-35 lb range.
Natural tails and dews.
