APAW – Poodle Pups for Working Roles

Jude is a fun, powerful, driven, confident boy. He gets along great with all people and dogs, including intact males around females in heat – he is completely non-confrontational and would rather explore or sniff for edibles than to interact with other dogs. He is extremely food motivated and physically insensitive… he approaches barriers as if he’s a battering ram, barely aware if he is bumped or roughly handled. He is slightly smaller than average for a male, with heavy bones and sturdy structure.

Jude was from an accidental litter, but evaluated very nicely as a puppy so he was kept intact to watch him mature and to complete health testing to see if he was a good candidate to be bred (he has passed his health testing with x-rays taken shortly before his 6th birthday, proving that his joint health is long-lasting). He has well above average genetic diversity and a couple of rare DLA haplotypes that would be nice to keep in the breed’s gene pool.
