APAW – Poodle Pups for Working Roles

Jubilee is a happy, social, confident girl who loves to shake hands and give hugs. Her food drive is through the roof, with low body sensitivity, “friendly” prey interest, and a joy for sniffing. She is very stocky and robust, as Poodles used to be in their working gun dog days. She would be the ideal ‘labradoodle’, except why bother if you can get all these traits as a pure Poodle?!

Jubilee was from an accidental litter, but evaluated very nicely as a puppy so she was kept intact to watch her mature and to complete health testing to see if she was a good candidate to be bred. She has above average genetic diversity and all 4 of her DLA haplotypes are rare and would be nice to save in the breed’s gene pool. Unfortunately she did not pass her hip x-rays – though she has great coverage and no laxity, there were mild signs of arthritis on one side at 4.5 years old.
