APAW Poodles is the breeding program of Jillian Emerson in Massachusetts. We breed only purebred Poodles, with an emphasis on stable temperaments for a variety of working roles, health, genetic diversity and proper conformation.
Since our first litter in 2010 we have placed many wonderful Poodles successful in a large variety of roles including service and therapy, performance sports, tracking and search and rescue, conformation, and as loyal family companions.
Our breeding program has shifted from only full Standards to a smaller size of 20-40 lbs, some lines including Mini Poodles to bring down size and raise genetic diversity, while other lines are still pure Standard genetically but selected for smaller size over the generations.
Our pups keep natural tails and dew claws, a decision supported by many experts as the healthiest option for strong athletes.
